His father being from Brooklyn, New York and his mother being from Macon, Ga, Dwayne Kendrick is a blend of the two worlds. Dwayne Kendrick paid much attention to the roots of HipHop and studied the genre from the beginning. His knowledge about music as a whole leads him to the combination of lyrical content while keeping his southern roots. A combination of soul and lyrics along with the courage to be different.
